Non Farm Payroll - Jan 06, 13:30 GMT: The high impact Non Farm Payroll (NFP) will be released on Jan 06, 13:30; this report is considered and key indicator and doesn't fail to trigger sharp market movements.

As the markets adjust to the end of year flows, January will be a key month in regards to the US dollar with President Trump taking office and events such as seasonal adjustments for the survey of households which contributes to unemployment rates.

As economic data has not been a major factor in dollar performance for several months, it's clear that the dollar is reacting more to political news as the world prepares for Trump. Only a large shift of 75k (plus or minus) on the projected figure of 178k gains in the December for the dollar to experience a significant reaction.
